My submition to Frillything's contest!
here's what it's from:
I took a seat next to Maya, and discovered that the couch was surprisingly soft. Maya leaned on my side and buried her head into my shoulder.
"See Nick?" She said sounding like she was ready to fall asleep. "This is the kind of thing you need in your office!"
I laughed. She was right, the filthy black couch Mia had bought years ago was getting harder and harder to clean. I hoped she wouldn't be too upset if I replaced it, seeing how the office was hers before she passed away.
this once again proves that I CAN'T DRAW INANIMATE OBJECTS! *sob*
